Can we just talk about how badass Bela was. I mean she could just talk to spirits and dead people whenever she pleased, she acquired goods and sold them, she doesn’t like to owe people anything so she pays all her debts, she doesn’t get out of bed for $3000, she is sassy, she lies about everything, she had a traumatic backstory that never really got explained and like every other character she has died and we have just forgotten about her. Why do we always forget?
Because its easier that way, to forget what pains us. It never really leaves us, but if we choose to forget, we choose to numb the pain. Thats what all fandoms do. We choose to forget, not because we want to, but so we can carry on. But nothing is ever truly forgotten, not really…
